北海道札幌市の冬の風物詩・さっぽろ雪まつりに行きました。
今年で76回目の開催です。
1950年に札幌市内の高校生が雪像を作ったことをきっかけに、年数をかけて今の規模になりました。
当初は、大通1丁目のエリアだけに雪像があったのですが、現在は大通11丁目まで雪像があります。

I went to 76th Sapporo Snow Festival at Odori Park, Sapporo City, Hokkaido.
It is a very famous winter event in Hokkaido.

This festival started in 1950, high school students made some snow statues at Odori Park area 1.
It used to be small event 76 years ago, but now it is three of the biggest winter event in the world.

Citizen Snow Statues area

大通2丁目、3丁目、8丁目は市民雪像エリア。
大学生、高校生、企業の人たち(従業員)によってたくさんの雪像が作られました。
漫画やゲームの人気キャラクターのものが多かったです。

At area 2, area 3, and area 8 are citizen snow statues area.
Many snow statues were made by university students, high school students, and companies.
A lot of popular and famous charactors from manga(comic) and games.

テレサ(スーパーマリオシリーズ)。

ミャクミャク。大阪万博(2025)のキャラクター。
散々批判されたけど、最終的には人気者になったのでは？

Myaku-Myaku from Osaka expo 2025.
It was hated at fist, but finally it became popular charactor.

魚と、その先へ。
Our future with fish. Hokkaido has rich fish and seafoods.

ところどころに飲食店もあります。どこも長蛇の列でした。
There were some food shop. Many people made a long long line…

煉獄さん(鬼滅の刃)。Kyoujuro Rengoku from Demon Slayer.

ポチ太(チェンソーマン)。
Pochita from Chainsaw man.

Company Snow Statue Area

企業の雪像エリアもあります。
日清食品は毎年、巨大な滑り台を作成、展示しています。
さらに、日清食品千歳工場で作られた、出来立てのカップヌードルを買うこともできます。
1個250円。スーパーよりも高い…
それにも関わらず、買い求める人がたくさんいました。

NISSIN FOOD PRODUCTS Co. Ltd exhibit big snow slope every year.
The company sells Cup Noodle made in Chitose factory, it is 250 yen($1.62), it is more expensive than buying at a supermarket…
In spite of this, many people bought it.
