[Day16_20250824] Whistler Mountain
I went to the Whistler Village Gondola Station.
It was so long and hot trip.
it took 30 minutes to arrive top of the mountain from a gondola station at the Whistler Village.
The gondolas do not have air conditionar, so inside of it was like a sauna.
Here is a Whisler Village Gondola Station.
We have to show a gondola ticket to staff before enter the station.
This is a gondola “Whistler Blackcomb”.
It seats up to 6 people and can carry up to 4 mountain bikes.
I got on it with 5 tourists(Actually, I would like to board on alone…).
I did not talked to them because they chatted their friends and I was seeing and taking mountain view.
It was so long trip…it took 30 minutes to arrive top of the mountain.

Top of the Whistler Mountain
I arrived at the top of the Whistler Mountain.
A refreshing breeze was blowing there.
It was cooler than the Whistler Village.
Lunch at the Whistler Mountain
I had a lunch at the Roundhouse Lodge whch is a shop and restaurant.
All meals and drinks(plastic bottle water) are a little bit expensive than Vancouver.
Probability it is top of the mountain price…
Usually, a plastic bottle water in vanouver is 1.2~3.75CAD, but here is 5~7CAD.
I recommend you to bring some bottle of water before visit here.
A Roundhouse Lodge.
There is a small shop very close to the door, and the second floor is a shop and restaurant.
I visited a shop and I hasitated to buy souveniors for me.
“There are many shops in the Whistler Village” I reminded a tour guide was saying.
I did not buy anything here.
I ordered an assorted fries and fried chicken.
A staff was using a cooking scoop, she carried a large amount of fries onto a plate.
I said to her “That’s enough!!” in a hurry.
It was 22CAD(in tax, ¥2247), but it was delicious and made me full!
After lunch, I took some photos around the restaurant.
Whistler Inuksuk. It is a kind of iconic made with stones.
A wild chipmunk. It appears at a restaurant.
Olympic Station Area
I got off a gondola at the Olympic Station to see view.
I stayed here for 5 minutes.
