Suddenly, I wanted to see ocean.
“I want to see a sea different from the waterfront!!!”
I saw a map at a bus station, and I found “I can see another sea view a park near the Olympic Village Station!”.

It is 700m between the Olympic Station and the Charleson Park.
I thought “Google map is lying! It is too far. It is not 700m, but 700km!!”.

I stopped by a seven-eleven which is a convenience store.
It was different from Japan’s one.
Some spring roll like fried chickens were rolling on a heater.
croissants, cinnamon rolls, and doughnuts lined up in the warmer.
Overall, the inside of the store is dark, because the floor is black.

A shop staff talked to me “What are you looking for?”
I told her “No, I’m just looking”
I left the shop and walked to the Charleson Park.

I stopped by a Tim Horton which is very popular and famous dounts shop in canada.
I bought a cup of cafe ole and one chocolate donuts.
It was too sweet…It was more sweet than Mister Donuts which is popular donuts shop in Japan…

After 20 minutes, I arrived at the Charleson Park at 5:40 PM.
It was very beautiful and wide park.
I was glad to visit here!
I walked and took many photos in the park.

突然「Waterfrontとは違う海を見たい！」と思った。
バス停の地図を見て、Charlson Parkが近いことを知り、行くことにした。

最寄りのOlympic Village駅から歩いて700m、とあったのだが、ウソだと思った。
歩いても歩いても辿りつかない。
700mではなく、700kmの間違いだろうとすら思った。

途中、セブンイレブンに寄った。
日本のとは全く違う。
ヒーターの上をくるくる回る春巻き状のフライドチキン。
加温機に詰められたクロワッサンやシナモンロール、ドーナツ。
極め付けは、床が黒かったので、店全体が暗かったこと。

店員に「何を探している？」と聞かれたので、「ただ見ているだけ」と返した。
何も買わずに店を出た。

Tim Hortonでドーナツとカフェオレをオーダー。
ドーナツはチョコレートがかかったカスタードクリーム入りのをオーダー。
店舗で食べるのに紙袋に入れて渡された。

甘い。
とにかく甘い。
日本のメジャーなドーナツ屋、ミスタードーナツよりも甘い。

ドーナツを食べて20分後のPM5:40、ついにCharlson Parkに到着。
とても綺麗で広い公園。来てよかった。
園内を歩いて、たくさんの写真を撮影しました。

A railway. It was like a scene of a movie.

Charleson Park

A Charleson Park is a park facing False Creek.
Here is close to the Granville Island and the Science World which is a science museum,
and across the park is the Yaletown-Roundhouse area.
False Creek is short narrow inlet in the heart of Vancouver.

Charleson Park(チャルーソン公園)は、False Creekに面している。
ここはグランビルアイランドにも、サイエンスワールド(科学館)にも近く、向かい側はYaletown-Roundhouseのエリア。
False Creekとは、バンクーバーの中心にある、短い入り江(湾)です。
