[Day1_20250809] Flight to CTS→NRT→YVR – Hokkaido View Photographer Kasumi's Blog

I went to vancouver, Canada in 2025/8/9~2025/9/6.
First, I flight from the New Chitose Airport(CTS, Hokkaido) to the Narita Airport(NRT).

CTS→NRT

I left the CTS at 1:10PM.
It was usual fright for me because I have been to outside of Hokkaido by airplane.

This airplane on the Ibaraki Pref.
I lived in Ibaraki Pref for 5 years, so I felt a sense of nostalgia..
I saw a red bridge from the window. It still in Oarai Town, maybe…

A airplane was closing to the Narita Airport(NRT).
I did not know there are rich green field near the NRT.

Narita Airport

I arrived the Terminal 1 in the Narita Airport at 3:30pm.
I checked my luggage, I saw some shops – Pokemon Store, LEGO shop and the Smith which is a stationary shop.
I bought four Rollbahn notebooks at the Smith because they are limited items in the Narita Airport.
“Rollbahn” is my favorite stationary brand in Japan. I use diaries and notebooks.

I suddenly felt anxious ” Can I speak English?”.
I had learned English for 3 years, but I have not been abroad…

A staff in NRT talked to me “Where do you wanna go?”
I answered “I’m looking for a convenience store LAWSON. I saw the digital sign on the ABC-MART one”
Staff “I see. Downstair and use that escaletor next to that Pokemon store.
Here is no shop, it is just passageway for staff”
Me：”I see. Thanks a lot”

I arrived at the LAWSON and made a my passport copy.
I left the copymachine, 1 minutes later, I noticed that I forgot my passport.
It made my very anxious.
I found my passport, and I made big mistakes before fly to Canada…

I boarded on AC4(Air Canada) at 6:15pm.
The baggage screening area was like a battlefield.
After passing through the departure gate, a dazzling array of shops – Dior, Lois Vittone, and AKIHABARA shop which sells many kinds of Japanese snacks and manga charactors goods lined the area.

At 6:30 PM, finally we boarded on the plane to YVR.

NRT→YVR

I boarded on the plane to Vancouver.
I was not able to sleep because I had some tasks in the plane – change my SIM card,
change my iPhone area and time setting, change my Garmin watch time setting,
and I took many photos from the window.

A dinner at 8:00 PM. A chicken rice was hot and delicious.
The Air Canada is more expensive than the WestJet and ZipAir, but the service is excellent.
We can enjoy watching some movies, kids animations, musics and check information of distination.
