さっぽろ雪まつりを撮影しました。
今年で75回目の開催です。
土曜日ということもあり、たくさんの人で賑わっていました。
I went to the 75th Sapporo Snow Festival on Saturday.
There were many people to see snow statues.

Area2：Citizon Snow Statues

大通2丁目の市民雪像エリア。
漫画やアニメ、ゲームのキャラクター、有名人の雪像がたくさん並んでいました。
There are many manga, animation, game characters, and famous snow statues.

「こっちの顕と」
北海道出身の俳優・安田顕さんと、「ギリギリダンス」の歌を作ったこっちのけんとさんがモデルです。
「そっちのヤスケン」という団体が作りました。

This is Kento.
This snow scalpture has two motifs.
One is Mr. Ken Yasuda who is an actor from Hokkaido, other is Kocchi no Kento who is an musician.

映画『ミニオン』シリーズのミニオン、ボブ。
This is Bob from minions series.

ジブリ映画『紅の豚』のポルコ。
Porco from “Porco Rosso” which is one of a Studio Gibri movie.

大谷翔平とデコピン。彼はかつて、北海道日本ハムファイターズで活躍していました。
Mr. Shohei Ohtani and his dog “Dekopin”.
He was belong to a baseball team “Hokkaido Nipponham Figters”.

左はピカチュウ、右は槍投げの北口榛花選手。
北口選手は2024年パリ五輪で金メダルを獲得しました。

On the left side is Pikachu, and on the right side is Haruka Kitaghichi who is an athlete from Asahikawa City, Hokkaido.
She got a gold medal in Paris Olympic 2024.

Area3 ：Food Area

3丁目にはたくさんの出店がありました。
出店では日本酒、じゃがバター、焼いたシーフード(カニ、ホタテなど)、チョコバナナやイチゴ飴を販売するお店が並んでいました。
どこも長蛇の列でした。

There are many food stalls which sells Japanese sake, potato and butter, fried seafood and fruits sweets like a chocolate coated banana and strawberry candies.

日本酒「大雪の蔵」がずらり。甘酒を売っていました。
A Japanese sake “Daisetsu no Kura”. This stall sold an amazake(a kind of Japanese sake).

じゃがバターのお店。
Potate and butter, it is commonly called Jagabutter among Hokkaido people.

カニの串焼き、ホタテ焼き、肉の串焼き。Fried crabs, scallops, and viennas.

揚げいもタワー。揚げいもは北海道の名物です。
fried potatos which name is Ageimo. It is also famous Hokkaido food.

いちごとマシュマロのチョコレートがけ。
雪まつりでは果物にチョコレートをかけたお菓子がたくさん並びます。
Strawberrys and mashmallows.

Area 7：Hokkaido Goverment Office

道庁の雪像。
2022年から改修工事が始まり、しばらく実物を見られませんでした。
2025年7月にリニューアルオープンします。

This is the Hokkaido Goverment Offce, commonly called Do-cho.
It was renewaled from 2022, so we did not see real one.
It is going to open on July 25.

Area 8：Ginrinsou

銀鱗荘は小樽市にある旅館で、2023年に文化財登録されました。
明治時代に余市町に建てられ、1938年に小樽市に移転しました。
プロジェクションマッピング「Lights of Otaru」が綺麗でした。

A Ginrinsou is a ryokan(japanese hotel)in Otaru City.
It was registered as a cultural asset in 2023.
It was built in meiji era in Yoichi Town, it moved to Otaru City in 1938.
This projection mapping ” lights of Otaru” is very beautiful.

Area 9：citizens Snow Statues

福沢諭吉と渋沢栄一。どちらも一万円札の肖像画です。
2024年7月3日に、紙幣のデザインが変わったことがこの雪像の由来です。
Yukichi Fukuzawa and Eiichi Shibusawa are painted in 10000 Yen note.
Japanese notes are renewaled on July 3 2024.

クマと戦う力士。
Japanese sumo wrestling. A sumo wresltler(rikishi) fights a wild bear.

BBBB(Bling-Bang-Bang-Born).
This song and dance were explosive popularity in the world.

「熊出没注意‼︎」
北海道にはたくさんのヒグマが住んでいます。
「俺たちだって出没したくでするのではない！シマエナガになりたい！」
シマエナガは北海道にのみ生息する小鳥。
文房具やぬいぐるみなど、たくさんのグッズが販売されています。

Attention wild bears!!
Many wild brown bears live in Hokkaido.
“We don’t want to appear your town! We want to become yellow-bellied pintail(Shimaenaga)”
Yellow-bellied pintails live in Hokkaido.
They are very popular and produces and sells many goods like stationerys, stuffed tois.
